New driving laws coming into effect
This summer, a wave of new driving regulations is scheduled to be implemented, urging all drivers to familiarize themselves with these updates. Among the changes are prohibitions on parking, and the introduction of brand-new low-emission zones, which might result in significant fines for motorists.
Parking on pavement ban
It is anticipated that a ban on pavement parking will be implemented during the upcoming summer season. In the event of enforcement, this new law may lead drivers to encounter a £70 fine for parking on the pavement.

New ULEZ expansion
The scheme is to cover all of London from 29 August, taking the Ulez zone up to the capital’s borders with Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, and Surrey.
Areas that will be impacted include Romford, Hornchurch, Purfleet, Rainham, Upminster, and more.
