The name “Chigwell” is believed to mean “Cicca’s well,” named after an Anglo-Saxon personal name. Another theory suggests it comes from “King’s well,” as it was once part of royal lands

Chigwell offers numerous side roads for learning to drive, providing the opportunity to experience faster roads during driving lessons.
